St. John School provides affordable private education for transitional kindergarten, elementary, and middle school (junior high) students in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Tuition

Please visit Tuition and Fees for information about St. John’s tuition rate. St. John School provides an option for full tuition or reduced tuition based on a family’s volunteer service preference. Tuition is payable annually, semiannually, or monthly.

Application for Enrollment – 2022/2023

Once you are ready to apply, please fill out and submit St. John School’s online Application for Enrollment. Please feel free to email or call the school office if you have any questions while filling out the application. Admission fees may be paid contact-free through Venmo or phone, or in-person by appointment.

Extended Care and After-School Activities

St. John School’s extended care is a nurturing environment where children are safely supervised while completing homework. We provide nutritious snacks and age-appropriate games and activities. Our extended care is billed on a monthly or drop-in rate. Additional after-school clubs and programs are available for a nominal fee.

Other Services

Title I: For our students that qualify under Title I, we offer the additional support of counseling services through the Center for Child and Family Development and a resource program through Catapult.

TK-5 Resource: We have a dedicated resource specialist that works with our TK-5 students.

Tutoring: Teachers currently offer free after-school tutoring for those students that need extra support.

High School Application: Applying to high schools in the Bay Area can be an overwhelming process. Our talented high school admissions team will assist our students and families every step of the way.
