ST. JOHN SCHOOL UNIFORMS
School Uniform Purchase Information | Dennis Uniform
St. John students are required to wear full dress uniforms most days and gym uniforms on days they have P.E. class or field trips. Dress and gym uniforms may be purchased through Dennis Uniform, online or from the San Francisco store location. St. John School code is WSJTEE.
Annual Uniform Exchange
Our students grow tremendously throughout the year, academically and otherwise! St. John has an active uniform exchange program so families may pass on items their students have outgrown and size up as needed. All drop-offs must be clean and in good condition. Traditionally, the last week of school is Free Dress. Families can take the opportunity to wash and turn in outgrown uniform pieces and pick up larger items for the following year. In addition to the annual end-of-school exchange, families can contact the school office during the school year to exchange if necessary.
Free Dress!
Throughout the year students will enjoy free dress or theme dress days to celebrate holidays, special events, and as special incentive prizes. Theme days vary by year and season. Common theme dress days might be pink/red/white for Valentine’s Day or red/green for Christmas. We also use theme dress days to highlight important messages, such as blue-themed clothes for Bullying Prevention Day (learn more). Special events such as Spirit Week give the students a chance to wear costumes and get creative with themes like Wacky Wednesday and Throwback Thursday. Free Dress is also awarded as an incentive for events like signing up for our Read-A-Thon or as a class prize for exceeding fundraising goals.
Free Dress is always optional. Students may always choose to wear uniforms to school, regardless of the theme or special event day.
